Wow, you guys! Wal-Mart has SERIOUSLY stepped up their game in the Home Decor department over the last couple years. Every season I’m more and more impressed with the fun goodies they come out with!! So, of course they were my go-to when I started shopping around for affordable spring decor!!
If you remember, I did a Wal-Mart Holiday Round-Up a few months back. Well, y’all loved that one so much I thought I’d do another one for Spring!! Pluuuuusss….I may have mentioned this already, (if you follow me on Insta, you know I haven’t stopped mentioning it 😂) but I’m so sick of Winter at this point that I’m literally trying to bury myself in all things Spring! I’m trying to will it here with ALL my might!!
So, because I’m already working on Springifying my home, (and bc tomorrow officially kicks of the start of my second favorite season) I thought I’d share some of the inspiration I’ve pulled from, and give y’all some ideas for refreshing yours!

Ahhh so light and airy!! I’m loving this vibe for spring!! Now even if you’re not looking to do a full room refresh (like you see pictured above), even just updating your accents (pillows, throw blankets, wall decor, greenery) could easily give you that affordable spring decor update you’re going for! And don’t forget, paint is ALWAYS a game changer folks! So many people see paint as being super permanent, but as long as you’re willing to put in a little elbow-grease, paint can change the entire feel of a room (even if it’s just one accent wall). AND it’s so easy to change out & paint over from season to season!
A Season for All Seasons!
Also important to note here….many of the items I shared above transcend seasons! Know what I mean by that?? It means that the majority of these items (the larger anchor pieces: rug, sofa, lamp, table, mirror) can easily work year-round!! You just change out the smaller accents & bam!! You’ve basically created a capsule for your home!! What are the perks of doing this, you ask?
- Makes refreshing your home seasonally super easy (and affordable)
- Keeps your spaces looking & feeling fresh
- Allows you to change things up, incorporate trends, and prevent boredom (all without breaking the bank)
You may have notice I use that word anchor pretty often. Having GOOD anchor pieces in your home (in my opinion) are crucial!! These are the pieces that you absolutely LOVE & maybe even splurge on bc you know they’ll be sticking around for awhile. If these pieces do their job properly, they can easily match any seasonal decor you decide to incorporate over the year(s). So if you’re in the market for these types of pieces, make sure you take your time, shop around, and don’t skimp. You’ll appreciate it 3 years from now when you still LOVE looking at it!!
I would love to know in the comments below…what are y’all doing to update your homes for spring/summer? Are you already working on it? Let me know!
