Could it really be that easy? 3 simple ways to refresh your space? Yes! It can!! I’m not talking major overhaul here either. There are, in my humble opinion, 3 things you can add, or change, in a space that will completely change the look and feel of the room. Can you guess what they are? As I share them with y’all, I’m going to give you examples of each so you can see what I mean.
Before we jump in, as always, I just wanna say real quick, THANK YOU SO SO MUCH for any and all affiliate links that you may use throughout this post. I appreciate MORE THAN YOU know when you support the brands that help to support this little blog & our little fam!!
Also, a HUGE thanks to eBay for sponsoring today’s post and our fun bedroom makeover project!!
Yay!! It’s FINALLY finished!!! We wrapped up E’s bedroom makeover today and he couldn’t be happier with the results!!! (See my Instagram stories for his reaction 😂). I have to say y’all, this was one of the EASIEST projects I’ve ever done! Probably because there was very little paint or woodworking involved, lol. The “hardest” part was the peel and stick wallpaper I added, but even that wasn’t hard…just sticky 😂😂. Seriously though, this project now has me motivated to knock out my daughter’s bedroom next!
Morning Friends! Two posts in one week?! Who am I, right?! Well, this is a post I’ve been meaning to do for a while now and just hadn’t gotten around to it. But! The important thing is, it’s here now!! Lol. I wanted to make sure and get it out to y’all before our first day of summer officially arrives!! Plus, you guys have been asking for ideas for neutral summer decor from Amazon so I’m happy to oblige!
Y’all this kids playroom organization and makeover project was looooong overdue in the Cantu household. Imma be reaaaaaal honest with y’all and let you know that my breaking point was when I realized I was doing waaaaay more yelling at the kids to clean up their mess than I was actually making the mess WITH them! I was fed up with spending my time cleaning (or begging them to clean) instead of being there, present, in the moment playing with them. I’ve heard it, felt it, and know it, but sometimes I still need to remind myself….these little years are fleeting and I want nothing more than to enjoy these few years where they actually WANT me around! (I know those teenage years are just around the corner.) I don’t want to look back and regret the time spent worrying about the mess instead of enjoying it!
Oh hey! It’s me! I only completed this cheap and easy DIY project like 4 months ago so it’s totally appropriate to be sharing now, right? Sorry!!! I know, I’m sooooo bad at this! I finally got these hideous filing cabinets painted and styled right in time for baby showers, birthdays, and the holiday season and then just TOTALLY bailed on sharing them with y’all. Well, hopefully y’all don’t hate me and are still interested in seeing how I did it!
Hey y’all! Thought I’d share my Target Christmas Finds from this week’s mini-shopping haul! Per usual, I just needed to get a few small things and walked out with a bit more than I intended too…shocker, I know. Anyway, I’ll be sharing these goodies in my Instagram stories as well so head over there if you wanna see live videos of all the goodies!
Talk soon buddies!
Okay so you’ve found the PERFECT Christmas tree, and you’ve been searching high and low for that box stand that will go with it perfectly…..annnnnnd you come up short again and again. That’s EXACTLY what happened to me! I finally found my perfect tree for our foyer in the new house, (it’s the King of Christmas 10′ King Douglas Fir Slim ) and I just could not find the right Christmas tree box to match it. So, when ya can’t find it, DIY it!!
Huge thank you to Penguin Dry Ice for sponsoring today’s post! And an even BIGGER thank you to you guys for supporting the brands that support this little blog and our little fam! You guys help keep things running around here and we appreciate it more than you know!!
It’s Hocus Pocus time witches!! I absolutely LOVE this time time of year!! The pumpkins, the leaves, the crisp smelling air, the spooky, and of course THE WITCHES! If you’ve been following for a while you know every year I create a spooky tablescape. Well this year….I wanted to up my Halloween game! (See last year’s photos below.)
As much as I loved my spooky tablescape last year, I knew this year I wanted to step up the creepy just a bit. My kids are getting older and they LOVE Halloween as much as I do so I wanted to do something fun and creative for them (and for me lol).
So I just looked at the date that I originally started this blog post. April 19th, 2019. Ha. 🤦🏻♀️ Guess I got busy, ya know, with school wrapping up, vacationing in Italy, all while planning and preparing for a move across country! 🤯🤯🤯 (If you have no idea what I’m talking about, or that I even moved, lol, I share all about it in this previous post. ) . Needless to say, lol, life has been a little crazy the last few months. I’m sorry that it’s taken me soooooo long to share the details of our super simple DIY photo gallery wall! I updated this wall not too long before we had to move and I absolutely fell in love with it!! I’m going to recreate this exact same look in our new home! Which we officially move into NEXT WEEK!!!! (Champagne waterfalls everywhere!!)
Yay!!!! It’s finally here!!! The new Fall Hearth and Hand line officially launched at Target today!!! There are so many beautiful items you guys! I mean duh, would we expect anything less from Queen Joanna?! I wouldn’t necessarily call today Christmas Morning…but it’s a close runner up! Haha!
Seriously though, I love the warm neutrals she used with the subtle pops of traditional fall color! I’m probably loving it so much because it’s exactly what I envisioned when I started thinking through my plans for this year’s fall decor. That must mean me and JoJo are spirit animals. #nootherwaytoseeit Haha okay I’m kidding! I swear I’m not creepy!
Well I guess we better jump into the goodies here before things get weird.
