Morning guys! We’re headed to our last soccer game of the season today (it’s so bittersweet) but before we head out, I finally wanted to share my Target Christmas Decor picks for this year!! Per usual, they have some adorable things! My favorites being those somewhat neutral finds that you can use year after year, AND even keep them up after Christmas to use them as “winter decor”!
Hello My Friends!!
Well, if y’all have been following along on Instagram you know that I’ve been working on this Girls Bedroom Makeover for my daughter over the last few weeks. I”m SO HAPPY to say that’s it’s finally DONE!!! Both Ava and I are over-the-moon pleased with the results!! She just loves being in her room now! And the best part…she’s even been keeping it clean (well, cleaner, lol) so she can enjoy it more!!
I love every detail in her room, from the wallpaper to the chandelier, from the bedding to the rug! Each element has made such a statement in her room and I love the way everything came together!!
It’s finally that time of year, y’all!! Fall and Halloween decor have arrived at Kirklands!! And this year, they have SUCH A GREAT LINEUP!!! I’m sharing my faves here but I also did a store walk through in my Instagram stories so you can head over there next to see the “live” version of most of these goodies!!
There are a few online only items below but if they had it in store I shared it over on IG. ☺️
Could it really be that easy? 3 simple ways to refresh your space? Yes! It can!! I’m not talking major overhaul here either. There are, in my humble opinion, 3 things you can add, or change, in a space that will completely change the look and feel of the room. Can you guess what they are? As I share them with y’all, I’m going to give you examples of each so you can see what I mean.
Before we jump in, as always, I just wanna say real quick, THANK YOU SO SO MUCH for any and all affiliate links that you may use throughout this post. I appreciate MORE THAN YOU know when you support the brands that help to support this little blog & our little fam!!
Also, a HUGE thanks to eBay for sponsoring today’s post and our fun bedroom makeover project!!
Yay!! It’s FINALLY finished!!! We wrapped up E’s bedroom makeover today and he couldn’t be happier with the results!!! (See my Instagram stories for his reaction 😂). I have to say y’all, this was one of the EASIEST projects I’ve ever done! Probably because there was very little paint or woodworking involved, lol. The “hardest” part was the peel and stick wallpaper I added, but even that wasn’t hard…just sticky 😂😂. Seriously though, this project now has me motivated to knock out my daughter’s bedroom next!
Morning Friends! Two posts in one week?! Who am I, right?! Well, this is a post I’ve been meaning to do for a while now and just hadn’t gotten around to it. But! The important thing is, it’s here now!! Lol. I wanted to make sure and get it out to y’all before our first day of summer officially arrives!! Plus, you guys have been asking for ideas for neutral summer decor from Amazon so I’m happy to oblige!
Y’all this kids playroom organization and makeover project was looooong overdue in the Cantu household. Imma be reaaaaaal honest with y’all and let you know that my breaking point was when I realized I was doing waaaaay more yelling at the kids to clean up their mess than I was actually making the mess WITH them! I was fed up with spending my time cleaning (or begging them to clean) instead of being there, present, in the moment playing with them. I’ve heard it, felt it, and know it, but sometimes I still need to remind myself….these little years are fleeting and I want nothing more than to enjoy these few years where they actually WANT me around! (I know those teenage years are just around the corner.) I don’t want to look back and regret the time spent worrying about the mess instead of enjoying it!
Oh hey! It’s me! I only completed this cheap and easy DIY project like 4 months ago so it’s totally appropriate to be sharing now, right? Sorry!!! I know, I’m sooooo bad at this! I finally got these hideous filing cabinets painted and styled right in time for baby showers, birthdays, and the holiday season and then just TOTALLY bailed on sharing them with y’all. Well, hopefully y’all don’t hate me and are still interested in seeing how I did it!
Okay so you’ve found the PERFECT Christmas tree, and you’ve been searching high and low for that box stand that will go with it perfectly…..annnnnnd you come up short again and again. That’s EXACTLY what happened to me! I finally found my perfect tree for our foyer in the new house, (it’s the King of Christmas 10′ King Douglas Fir Slim ) and I just could not find the right Christmas tree box to match it. So, when ya can’t find it, DIY it!!
Huge thank you to Penguin Dry Ice for sponsoring today’s post! And an even BIGGER thank you to you guys for supporting the brands that support this little blog and our little fam! You guys help keep things running around here and we appreciate it more than you know!!
It’s Hocus Pocus time witches!! I absolutely LOVE this time time of year!! The pumpkins, the leaves, the crisp smelling air, the spooky, and of course THE WITCHES! If you’ve been following for a while you know every year I create a spooky tablescape. Well this year….I wanted to up my Halloween game! (See last year’s photos below.)
As much as I loved my spooky tablescape last year, I knew this year I wanted to step up the creepy just a bit. My kids are getting older and they LOVE Halloween as much as I do so I wanted to do something fun and creative for them (and for me lol).
